F350 on 37s
1999 to 2016 Super Duty - ordered my lift and 37s but have questions on wheels. - Hey guys i just ordered my pro comp 6.5 lift kit for my 03 f350 and i got 37/13.50/17 toyo m/t's. My question is i dont know what wheel backspacing and offset to get so i dont rub my buddy has a 02 f250 6 on 37s and he doesent rub at all...This 2022 F-450 Super Duty Powerstroke is sitting on a Carli Suspension Backcountry level height suspension system, along with 22" American Force wheels and ...I have 37's but haven't paid attention to the gas mileage. A lot of people that have full 35's or 37's don't get the hypertech correction, and thereby don't actually know what their MPG is since the numbers are off due to the tire size. I have the hypertech, just haven't paid attention. I'll work on correcting that next week.

Guys have put clear up to 285/75-16 on the stock rims, but that is way over spec for a 7" wheel. 245/75 fits of course which was stock size on the E series vans with the same wheels. 255/85-16 is an oddball size that would be largest to fit "correctly". Anything wider than that doesn't work on a 7" wheel.I ordered the truck with 3.55 gears when I bought it new along with the 18" wheels. I have just put on the 37's and Matt re-did my tune for the new tire size. 5TH gear TC will activate at 60 MPH. @ 65 MPH, RPM's are just over 1500. I want to run a set of winter tires and with my research it seems like my two options are to change the tire on my wheel with another r20 winter tire or buy a dedicated set of 18 inch tires. ….

For starters, those gears will not run 2150 RPMs at 70mph. There is a calculator on the other site (that has the word Garage in it). You can see for 4.56's and 37" tall, 2500RPM is about 60MPH and 3000RPM is about 72MPH, so you are probably turning 2800RPM give or take.Billman812. 113 posts · Joined 2010. #3 · Apr 25, 2018. I'll look for a pic but I towed 39' WW with cognito 7-9" on 37's. Was not a dually but the only difference would be you have to worry about tire to tire clearance on the rear. Had to do a spring over on the trlr.

Its not like a 20 is a small rim! Especially for the cost.
